I’m Dr. Cherelle Chin—a Doctor of Speech-Language Pathology, Reiki practitioner, certified life coach, author, entrepreneur, and founder of Giving, Inc.
My career has never fit neatly into one box, and I’ve learned to embrace that. My work sits at the intersection of communication, personal growth, wellness, and service—with a common thread of helping people feel empowered to communicate, grow, and live more intentionally.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, I earned my Bachelor’s and Master of Arts degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Hampton University in 2012 and 2014. After graduate school, I moved to Florida—a childhood dream—and went on to earn my Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University.
With more than a decade of experience as a speech-language pathologist, I’ve had the opportunity to work with individuals across the lifespan and in a variety of settings, including public schools, skilled nursing facilities, home health, clinics, and teletherapy. I am a licensed speech-language pathologist, a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
In 2021, I became a certified professional life coach, building on years of mentoring and supporting clients and families. While I no longer offer traditional 1:1 life coaching, personal growth and empowerment remain an important part of my work and continue to influence the way I serve others.
My own journey has also led me to explore wellness and spirituality in a deeper way, ultimately becoming a Reiki practitioner. Reiki has become another way for me to create space for intentionality, reflection, and well-being.
My passion for service led me to found Giving, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to creating opportunities and providing resources for Black girls, teens, and women. Through Giving, Inc., I’m able to bring together many of the things I care about most—education, empowerment, personal development, service, and community.
Today, this website is a reflection of all of those pieces. You’ll find my work in speech-language pathology, Reiki and wellness, books and resources, entrepreneurship, and the causes I care deeply about.
Outside of my professional work, I’m a mom, creator, and lifelong learner who loves traveling, dancing, spending time with family, and creating a life that feels meaningful—not just successful.
I believe we’re allowed to evolve, pursue different passions, and become more than one thing. This is my space to do just that—and I’m glad you’re here.
